Outside, the wind is howling. Today was warm. The broken trees that fell in the ice storm were exposed; now they're half-covered with snow again. But the path to the motor home is mostly clear. We could drive away today, I suppose, and count ourselves lucky. But we don't leave for a few more weeks, and I wonder what weather we will find the day we are finally loaded and roll away, heading south and west.
